Here's my excuse ~ Aid Man got a little bit sicker. We took him to the doc and she put him on Amoxicillin and Orapred. Lemme tell you a little something about Orapred. Or rather the pea-soup-spitting-strength-of-a-150lb-man-who's-head-spins-around-like-earth medicine. The same medicine that is listed in Chunka-Butt's (My Sweetie Pie daughter) medical file as 'DO NOT GIVE' I administered Aid's first dose kind of with one eye shut and the other squinting in trepidation. About an hour later, he was just very emotional, cuddly and then...fast asleep. So the whole week flew by in a flurry of 'cuddle me'. Which I did.
I'm behind on everything. Laundry's piled, dinner hasn't been cooked in a week, I haven't shined my sink in superb flylady (WILL blog about this tomorrow) style.. I'm a wreck. Aidie, however, is in great spirits, done with the medicine, and ready to go on with life.
Some good news is, I got a job!!! Yep, it's doing some marketing for the roofing company Al works for. I'm pretty excited about it. I get to work from home too. Isn't that a dream?!?!? I get paid for that, so I'll have lots of time to follow my passions as well. Oh, and talk to you! The only problem is, my computer is hitting it's twilight years. Yes, he's dying...I think. He creeps like a turtle, and although I have my good ole' Norton Anti-Virus installed, I do believe that he has a latent virus hidden in there somewhere. I want, I need, I'll DIE (nooooo not really!!....really?) for a MacBook Pro...I believe it will solve all of my problems in life. They, my beloved tippy top of a wish list notebooks, are just too expensive for right now. So I think I'm going to have to settle for a PC in laptop form. Either way though, once I can get into the swing of things (crossing fingers) You'll be seeing, and reading, a lot of me.
And...feel free to give me a nice big internet butt kicking if I don't post tomorrow.
